I installed the script locally to test it out and to make my own template, and I also use php 5 (5.1.2 to be precise) locally on my machine, and the script is fully functional here as well.
Well, after some hassle I got my host to move my account to a server running php 4.4.4 and now, after I reinstalled the script again, everything works as it should. Thanks Malabar for the help, anyway.
